This set of bearings is manufactured to the highest standards, ensuring a perfect fit and exceptional performance.
The Power 580M bearing set includes all the necessary components to keep your engine running smoothly. It comprises six bearings in total: three crankshaft bearings, two main bearings, and one connecting rod bearing. Each bearing is crafted from top-grade materials that provide superior strength, durability, and resistance to wear.
The crankshaft bearings are designed to support the heavy loads transferred from the crankshaft to the engine block. They feature a precision-machined surface to ensure a tight fit and minimize friction, while their robust design allows them to withstand the extreme pressures generated by the engine.
The main bearings are responsible for supporting the piston assembly and reducing friction between the piston and the engine block. The bearings in this set are made from high-quality steel and feature an optimized design to ensure a snug fit, even wear, and excellent load-carrying capacity.
The connecting rod bearing supports the connection between the piston and the crankshaft, and it undergoes significant stress due to the reciprocating motion of the piston. This bearing set includes a high-performance rod bearing that can handle the extreme loads and pressures, while its precision-machined surface ensures a tight fit and minimizes friction.
These bearings are supplied as new old stock (NOS), meaning they have been professionally stored and have not been previously installed or used. By choosing a new old stock bearing set, you can enjoy the peace of mind that comes with knowing you're installing genuine, original equipment that meets or exceeds the original specifications.

I found a listing for them in my 1948 Federal Mogul catalog, but the engine was used through 1952. NOS Sealed Power STANDARD main bearings for Nash / Rambler AMC 173 L6 engines. These are long discontinued from Sealed Power/Federal Mogul. The 580M kit was the only one that used 1148SB, and you can see even Sealed Power using older inventory to create these kits in 1960s or 1970s.
The others are Sealed and I didn't want to disturb them. I was able to open two of the re-culpable boxes for a photo, bearings are in perfect condition.
